EVENTS: Advancing WP1 Goals: HEIS Sarajevo’s Latest in PREBIODUNES
As part of the ongoing PREBIODUNES project, the Hydro-Engineering Institute Sarajevo (Bosnia and Herzegovina) has made substantial progress in data collection and analysis within Work Package 1 (WP1). These activities play a crucial role in advancing the project’s scientific and technical objectives.
Key actions completed include:

Compilation of available data and documentation for the designated study area in Neum Municipality, Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Acquisition of up-to-date climatological and meteorological data from the Federal Hydrometeorological Institute Sarajevo.

In-depth review and analysis of the collected materials in support of project Deliverables 1.1.1; 1.1.2; 1.2.1; 1.3.1; and 1.4.1, focusing on:

Geobotanical and faunistic assessments

Sedimentological and marine coastal research

Evaluation of human impact on ecosystems
