EVENTS: 1st Transnational PREBIODUNES Partnership Meeting 12–13 June 2025 | Athens, Greece – CTI “Diophantus” Premises | Hybrid Event

The first Transnational Partnership Meeting of the PREBIODUNES project will be held on 12–13 June 2025, hosted by CTI “Diophantus” in Athens. The event will run from 13:00 to 18:00 on Thursday and 09:00 to 17:30 on Friday.

The two-day meeting brings together project partners, researchers, and stakeholders to review progress and share expertise on mapping, monitoring, and conserving coastal dune ecosystems across the Mediterranean.

Day 1 focuses on internal coordination: reviewing mapping activities (WP1), pilot planning and monitoring strategies (WP2), and management issues.
Day 2 opens to external experts and authorities with a high-level workshop on coastal biodiversity protection, nature restoration policies, technical sessions, and presentations of pilot sites in Italy, Greece, Montenegro, and Bosnia-Herzegovina.
